Can one commercial re-launch a brand? Basically, yes. When Frito Lay acquired Cracker Jack, we created a campaign for a test market in Iowa. After seeing success in market, Frito Lay decided to test this spot with all their other brand’s commercials to see what they would run on the
Super Bowl.
Results
This one spot scored higher than every other piece of Frito Lay advertising. It was one of the top spots in the famed USA Today
poll. It only ran that once, but it
re-launched the brand and is
still remembered today.
