Situation
Microsoft Office is used by over a billion people worldwide, yet it’s almost taken for granted. The brand needed a fresh point of view that would give people a reason to consider the latest version of the software.
Solution
Focus the brand, not on the software, but on the people that use it. We developed the Real Life Stories Film Series; a collection of films, shot on location around the country that document how real people use Office.
Results
The first 4 films generated over a million views and half million downloads. 15 films were created in all. And the project yielded over 10 million downloads of the beta, which more than tripled their expected goal of 3 million.
