The Melt is actually a startup based in San Francisco. They’re a technology company working in the foot space. Founders developed a way to make the perfect grilled cheese, consistantly and efficiently so people could order ahead, even during crowded periods, and get their food while the grilled cheese was still warm. Since Division of Labor is the San Francisco ad agency specializing in startups, the fit was perfect.

The Melt had developed a pretty strong brand look and feel. Their voice was a work in progress, so we started on a variety of in-store communications to release new menu items, seasonal additions and the like. A series of digital screens allowed us to create simple video, moviing posters and motion graphics. After we got our voice, the agency moved on to store launches, out of home and events. Division of Labor is a full service ad agency in San Francisco, but we proudly take on smaller projects for startups like The Melt with the hope of growing with the client as their needs grow.
