Radio is not only a popular medium, it has evovled into a larger audio catagory that includes SiriusXM, Podcasts, Pandora, Spotify and traditional radio. Division of Labor is a top advertising agency in San Francisco that often includes audio as part of the advertising campaigns they create for clients.
Audio is a cost effective way to increase impressions and deliver detail and information in support of campaigns. But it can also be a highly effective awareness tactic, not to mention funny as heck.

It isn’t easy to produce radio commercials well. And it’s even more difficult to write a radio commercial that people enjoy listening to. Any knucklehead can write down everything they think is great about their product and then have someone read it accompanied by some cheesy background music. But that doesn’t mean anyone is gonna listen. Division of Labor is a top advertising agency in San Francisco. They create advertising based on strategic insight and then write things that connect emotionally with people. Sometimes funny, actually ideally, it’s funny because funny works better than anything else. But whether it’s funny or clever or insightful or painfully honest, it needs to be emotional. And that’s always hard to do well.

The first thing to consider is where the ad will be running. Traditional radio is requires something different than podcasts which requires something different than SeriusXM. Division of Labor is an advertising agency in San Francisco that can create the campaigns and buy the media. For the most successful advertising campaigns, it’s imperative that media and creative work very closely together.
When Division of Labor helped launch Roku, they used a combination of recorded radio, and yes it was funny, mixed with live-read radio. Combinations like this coome about because they solve specific problems. No one strategy works best for everyone. Sorry, that’s a lame answer. But it’s true.
